It is an all out assalt on they guy. Didn't they try this negative stuff during the last election. Republicans picked up seats in the House and Senate. It is a historically rare thing for the presidents party to pick up seat. I don't believe this is because the republicans are so great. The problem is that the democrats have lost their way. I their negativity is all they have. I am a third party guy myself. I would love to see a fourth party or more. The moderates of the democats snd republican parties be able to work without having to be swayed by the far right or left.
