The monorail thing was completely different and, in MY opinion, entirely preventable.

Seriously. If they REALLY care about "safety first", there is no way in hell they would allow a driver to sit in the front of the train and proceed backwards completely blind. It's outrageous.

Disney has so become a BiIG CORPORATION but you must treat and care for your "CASTMEMBERS" But it's the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR that speaks for Disney now. Been goiing to WDW since 1982 and have seen the changes that have been for the worse! You know what I will spend my $'s at Seaworld and Universal and Kennedy Space Center and Ceder Point! Before I ever go back there!
Heres the thing is I went to Animal Kingdom and basically had a heart attack for the heat and Disney not ahving the correct measures being there! Was taken to Celebration Hopsital. Best care I have ever had! But Disney didnt even help to get me a room after so i could rest a few days before i had to drive baack to DC and did'nt even offer! But when i asked about the hospital bill with my employer. Thay said don't ask..Gee I wonder if Disney was worried about being sued for poor designs in their park ?

Lost my job, Broke my right foot ankle and leg. and have been told I can't basically walk again as far as work. I'm Just stressed out. If you were released from the hospital, I would say you should complain to the doctors if you feel they released you too soon, not Disney for not giving you a free hotel room!

If they actually paid for it (you keep saying "if"), that means they took care of you above and beyond what they needed to do since, let's face it, YOUR heart attack is not THEIR fault whatsoever. If they dropped you off at the hospital door by ambulance and then sent you the ambulance bill, that would have been enough.

***I'm happy if they paid the hospital bill.

IF they paid? Did they? Or not?

You should be damned happy that they paid your bill, I'm surprised and wondering if there isn't more to this story. I can read nothing into what you wrote that would indicate to me that they were obligated to do so (did you threaten to sue, or something?).

***But upset that know one care to see how I was doing after the event***

They sent you to a hospital and PAID for it.

What do you want, a cookie?

A concerned phone call once a week asking if you're okay now?

    Geez...

***And ask What can we do for you In getting better.***

Good Lord, you can NOT be serious.

    Interesting.

I can only assume that this very specious argument is the very reason you GOT a free stay at the hospital out of Disney. I will certainly try and remember that excuse for my eventual (probably inevitable) heart attack. In fact, if I feel a twinge, I'll try and drag my butt into a Disney Park in order to cash in! j/k

You think Animal Kingdom is "poorly designed" in terms of crowds and heat? Try Tokyo Disneyland sometime. I assure you, they will take good care of you if you drop from a heart attack but they won't pay you a single thin dime (or even a single thin yen).

So, you were very lucky that Disney bought your "too crowded and hot" argument and paid for your expensive hospitalization!

***The main complain I have is Disney didn't offer a place to stay so I ould rest up after leavin the hospital.***

How could you possibly expect something like that!?

***For a few days so I could travel safely back home that would have been better than just saying " HAVE A MAGICAL DAY" As I said I just need a few days of rest after the hospital even if was staying at a low cost resort.***

So you're pissed that you didn't get a few days at a low cost resort for free?

After having all your medical taken care of?

    Dude.

That TOTALLY sucks, and I'm sorry to hear it!

On the bright side though, you got completely free care and treatment at a great hospital after your unfortunate heart attack.

Considering the state of health care in America, you got very very lucky! ;)

Laughingplace is a very friendly place, you can make friends here I'm sure. :)

Also, are you claiming that you were SO broke (even after all your bills were paid by Disney) that you travelled in an unsafe condition rather than pay for a hotel yourself to rest up in?

Forget a "low cost resort" (you destroy your argument here completely by even using the word "resort"), if you needed a place to stay and rest up, you certainly could've chosen any number of cheap motels located literally steps away from your hospital...a 2-3 day stay would've cost you less than $100.

    Just sayin.....

Let's clear up the thought that AK's design somehow caused a heart attack. It is a huge park so cramped size is plainly not the issue. Unfortunately you clearly do not have a healthy heart by your own words & it is incumbent of you to know your limitations & behave accordingly to take care of yourself.

It is not costumary for any buisness/individual to be expected to take finacial responsibility for an illnes just because it occurs on their property.

As I said if this is for real I'm truely sorry you are in so much pain both physically/emotionally & hope you seek support/help(but as you mentioned this is not the best place for that). If however you are pulling our legs what can I say I am pretty short & can use a few inches.
