Okay, sure you could make the argument that this guy is old and senile...

Pretty much that would be the only excuse.

IF NOT, we are talking about a man who was the defense minister of a nation. I would assume he'd know a thing or two more than us regular shmoes.

Not to mention, the defense minister of a country who is a close ally and friend of the most POWERFUL country (that's us), and the country that seems to be keeping all the secrets.

I would say that, possibly, this is the strongest evidence that has yet come to light. This guy knows more than most people on the planet, after all!

Just my 2 cents, of course (and it's easy enough to dismiss him as a whack job old guy).

Labuda, do you leave room for the possibility that a former minister of defense might have a little more knowledge about things than the rest of us?

Or are you just going to go with "doddering"?

I do think a former minister of defense would know more than us, BUT I just don't get from this article that he does - to me it reads like speculation.

Doddering? No, not at all. I'd go with "crazy as a bed bug." Here's what the same gentleman had to say in 2005:
    >>The United States military are preparing weapons which could be used against the aliens, and they could get us into an intergalactic war without us ever having any warning... I'm so concerned about what the consequences might be of starting an intergalactic war, that I just think I had to say something... The Bush administration has finally agreed to let the military build a forward base on the moon, which will put them in a better position to keep track of the goings and comings of the visitors from space, and to shoot at them, if they so decide.<<
