I didn't find any acceptable ready made Pinocchio costumes, so I'm having to create my own.

Found a pair of red shorts on clearance tonight for $2.50. I'll be able to make them perfect Pinocchio shorts.

Found an alpine style yellow hat online.

Getting a yellow t-shirt will be easy enough, but any ideas who I can create the white collar on the yellow shirt?

Any ideas how to make Pinocchio style shoes?

Cut the collar out of white felt, leave a seam allowance that fits into the yellow tee. Either hot glue or whip stitch it on the inside. The folded collar will hide any stitches or glue.

For shoes, look for oversize slippers and stuff them to make them larger.

That leaves you with the big floppy blue bow tie (wire ribbon) and the patterned stripe down the leg of the shorts. And the suspenders. And the white gloves.

For the suspender I was just going to stitch red felt suspenders on the back of the shorts and made a button whole to button on to the front of them.

He has a black vest type thing left over from last halloween. It's Woody's vest, so I'll have to cover over the cow print on the front but the back is solid black.

I have a plan for the stripe down the shorts too. Just stitch on a blue ribbon and try to find some x shaped buttons or something like that to hot glue on.

White felt is a good idea for the collar, Doug!

I'm going to buy a Jiminy Cricket pin so he can pin it to his shoulder.

He is going to be so cute, I might have to incorporate the costume in his regular wardrobe, lol.

Still need white gloves, shoes/slippers of some kind, blue bow, white collar, red suspenders to hook into white buttons, Jiminy Cricket pin.

Otherwise I know you can get them from the online Disney Parks Store. Is it called DeliverEars? If you don't have the Jimminy Cricket Pin yet, you can use the same resources. Shoes, I don't know. Everything else you can get at a craft\fabric store.
