I know to arrive early for the shortest lines...but I was hoping to get some pointers and some "do's and don'ts" from the crowd experts!

Get your fastpasses early in the day. Remember you can use them after the time expires (same day).

Take a good attitude. That's the most important thing. I've been in the parks on some of their most crowded days, and still had a blast.

Get there when it opens and do the big rides early. Grab fastpasses for everything you can. Don't eat meals during standard meal times...eat a little earlier or later and then go on rides when people are all dining. Take advantage of parades and go on rides then.

Best advice? Just try to take it easy and know there's nothing you can do about the crowds. Keep your cool and just have as much fun as you can!

Like you, I had always been when it was quiet, so I was a little overwhelmed! I would like at a lone and think 'Oh my gosh, I'm not waiting an hour (or two) for that!' So, I'd take a half hour criss-crossing the park only to find another long line. Once I 'surrendered' and waited in the lines, it was really not bad at all. And I generally found that the posted wait times were off....so if it said an hour, it was only about 35 minutes. Good luck and have a great trip!

Then my girls braved Space Mountain line while I shopped. Yes...sometimes waiting in a long line isn't that awful. I really enjoy watching people and listening to the conversations around us. Just a different way to enjoy Disneyland! Seems like you appreciate the ride a little more after standing in a long line!

Just being at Disneyland makes for a great day!!
