Maybe it's just us in our old age, but it sure seems many "guests" are ruder and more belligerent than they have ever been. It was very crowded, and although wended our way to Small World and got on the ride within 20 minutes, we decided to get out after we rode. We didn't think there would be fireworks due to the wind, but the nature of the crowd persuaded us to leave anyway. We did hear some cast members, in response, to questions as to when the fireworks were to start, tell some "guests" it was unsure whether they would happen. We felt for those cast members. "Guest" comments such as "they damn well *&^! better" were the norm. If the park was at capacity last night, maybe they need to re-think what capacity should be. One of these days, they might need to evacuate quickly and orderly and frankly, with the way thigns are, that ain't ever gonna happen.

But thanks again everyone for the replies...

We arrived at DL right when the parade started. It was wall to wall people trying to pass through Main Street, which led to many frustrated guests, especially those with strollers. We were in back of this poor CM who was trying to push a stroller that someone had left in the walkway. The owner of the stroller saw the CM moving the stroller and yelled, "You shouldn't be taking people's strollers away like that!" The CM tried to explain what he was doing, and another CM doing traffic control had to intervene and told the guest he shouldn't have left the stroller in the walkway. I seriously felt like socking the guest for the way he talked down to the CM, but that wouldn't be very civil either...anyway, good job to all the CMs who do traffic control and have to put up with such obnoxious behavior.
