This is an easy, non-political, and relatively cheap way to support our troops.

This past Sunday I bought some boxes for the house and then bought two more for troops. The girls didn't have the proper forms but they took my name and number and said they would take care of it.

Why only 2? Well, I spread my cookie buying around so I'll be purchasing more for me...and for our troops.

Just give it a thought when you see the girls. If I was a soldier, I'd be pretty darn thrilled to see a box of Thin Mints heading my way!

And, I leave you with this:

Why don't Boy Scouts sell cookies?

Because, who wants to eat a cookie that says "BS" on it?

I normally turn the girls away without a sale (I don't need those things in the house, my booty is big enough thank you). But now if any come to my door I'll make sure to buy some to go to the troops.
    Thanks for the info!

They sell popcorn instead. And trust me, from personal experience, it is really tough trying to convince people that they need to buy the BSA popcorn. Why did the Girl Scouts have to take the good one first?

I still have some chocolate coated caramel corn from the holidays. It was tasty but still kind of costly.
