It's like Epcot, there no other park like it in the world and if they built another i think it wouldn't be a s special. same with TDS. But if they were to build it. I would change a few things. Since the whole little mermaid idea is being built into dca maybe reolace that area with a nemo thmed land. And you would have to come up with another major ride to replace indy since DL already has one. and I was thinking next to the park's entrance they could include a water park maybe themed to atalntis or soemthing i don't know. What do you guys think? they could call the water park Disney's Fantasea

Second, I think it would be a mistake to model a third park at DLR too closely to DisneySea - there's not enough land and the park would compare poorly to the original. As I touched on in the "Orange Stinger" thread, my idea for a third park would bear some resemblence to Epcot's World Showcase, but have enough differences that people would see it as unique. I've posted this idea before, but it's been a while, and work is slow today. Rather than being based on National pavilions, my park would be divided into six "continents". Also like World Showcase, there would be a central lagoon, but it would be much smaller than the one at Epcot. ImagiNations would be a good name for this park. It would feature characters from Disney Animation and could use elements from both the World Showcase and Disney Sea - such as Arabian Coast and American Waterfront. The entrance and the northern most land would be Europe. On either side of it would be North America and Asia, then South America and Africa. The southern most land would be Oceana, consisting of Australia, Antarctica, and Polynesia. This land could have a volcano similar to DisneySea, which would serve as the "weenie" of the park.

According to this fact sheet, DisneySea has 121 acres accessible to the public. I would think if you counted backstage areas, it would be almost twice as big as the Strawberry Field. http://corporate.disney.go.com...8_10.pdf

In general, I'm figuring the typical mix of rides, movies, and shows, along with themed restaurants and shops. Certainly any of the attractions from Epcot's World Showcase could fit, as well as some from Disneysea. <also how would the charecters be incorpurated into a theme park based on countries??> Well, some examples would be a restaurant in Europe could be themed to Beauty and the Beast. A roller coaster in Asia could be themed to Mulan, a raft ride in Africa to Tarzan or Lion King, and a flume ride in South America to Emperor's New Groove. Plus there could be Meet n Greets, Shows, and dark rides based on Disney Animated characters. In short, Fantasyland expanded to include the whole world, and not just northwest Europe. As I said in the Orange Stinger thread, maybe that will stop them from shoehorning in characters where they don't belong in DL or DCA.

Likewise for a "World Showcase" type of park; it would be forever compared to Epcot as "falling short of what already is". While Disney's America is intriguing, some of it would be too similar (and already incorporated) to DCA. I would like to see a theme completely unique that isn't just a clone of another existing park, but with enough attention to detail, design, and execution that it doesn't stumble out of the gate. I haven't really figured out what to call it, but I would love for a Theme that could explore all the varieties of mythology throughout history and cultures. From Ancient Greek mythology to tall tales to modern mythology (like Middle Earth and/or Narnia). Every culture of the world has incredible stories, and Disney could bring those places and stories to life like no other Theme Park.
