    Kidding.

Why does this rumor never seem to die, year after year after year?

As an Attractions CM we hear this rumor from Guests every single year. And it always seems to come from the Stores CM's staffing that souvenir cart at the exit. I have no idea where they come up with this stuff, because it is entirely false.

Haunted Mansion Holiday will return in 2007, and I have already seen it on the refurb calendar in the office. Small World Holiday will also return for it's 11th season at the Park.

But, when I go any other time of the year, I ride it..over and over.

Small World Christmas overlay is the best!!! I never get tired of that one! That is the best overlay I have ever seen! Kudos to whoever thought of that one..!

HMH going away is just one of these such rumors.

Bottom line is don't always believe things JUST BECAUSE a CM said it.

    <<sigh>> :(

And asking more CMs wouldn't help because they're all telling each other the rumor. lol.

But yeah I've been hearing this rumor pretty much every year since they started HMH. I actually like the HMH, it's a nice change from the normal HM. Don't get me wrong, HM is one of my favorite rides and I love every second of it, but sometimes a little change like that is fun.

So whenever I hear, "Tim Burton has pulled the rights," I know the rumor is false.

I neither spread nor listen to rumors.
But I hope this one is as false as it sounds. I LOVE HMH. Sally is my alter ego.

I don't know how reliable <a href="http://riderefurbs.com/" target="_blank">http://riderefurbs.com/</a> is, but they list HM as closed Sept. 10 through 27.

(No listing there for Matterhorn closures.)

I do love the Haunted Mansion in its regular form but when Hubby and I went last month I was like, "Boy, it is really drab in here." I missed the Holiday colors.
