    This made me laugh too...

<* Grizzly River Rapids receives animatronic bears, condors and other creatures once envisioned for the raft ride. Animatronic characters under construction for the Grizzly Trail area at Hong Kong Disneyland would fit perfectly.>

    Vindication will me mine!!!!!!

A lot of what he includes are just dusty old rumors that came and went years ago - like 'philharmagic'. He also points to locations and says "e-ticket here". I need more details than that to qualify it as a "rumor".

A Micechat poster said the same thing:
"The article really was just a rehash of MC discussions and a few leaks that we all know about."

But my feel .. is this writer compiled a list of not just what the online community has said .. but with an ear to WDI as well.

My concern ... is Disney puts no effort to not one single ORIGINAL attraction for the future .. but just continues down the same pipeline to creating a host of rides that are clear "Synergistic Pushes" to their Cartoon World Arsenal .. from Disney's own library, newer or older ... or worse yet - More Pixar!

Agreed, oc_dean. It's just as much of an eyesore as the MaliBOOMer. And we just got rid of that! :)

I hear you! I've pretty much come to accept the fact that this is the new Disney. It was a hard pill to swallow, but there's really no point now in complaining about it because this is just the way that they do things now.

No doubt if Disney were more daring and gave us all-original non-toon-based attractions that both educated and entertained, these would be fewer and further between. But higher quality experiences.

Quantity vs. quality. I suppose quantity via "synergy" wins out by way of a healthier bottom line.

It works fine with the NY NY hotel in Vegas. It would be nice to get ride of the trail, but probably not going to happen.

That might be true if it weren't for the fact that the content of every Disney park, with maybe the exception of EPCOT, is slowly being undergoing a similar character-centric transformation. Just look at the recent additions to DL over the past decade.
