I think it is considered to be great honor to be invited by most celebrities and personalities. I have seen this many times at WDW and DL. I was able to be seated for 3 performances last weekend with John O'Hurley and Corbin Bernsen and Susan Lucci. It was the first time for Ms.Lucci and she could barely speak due to her unexpected emotions she experienced at her conclusion. Perhaps Mr.Skerritt was also emotionally overwhelmed at the performance you saw. I hope it was still a tremendous experience for you. I think the performance is the most powerful at DL and that is due to the event being held on DL's Main Street with the feeling that Mr. Walt Disney's Spirit is present.

I have also seen Jon Voight and Dick Van Dyke perform at DL. It would be impossible to name a favorite. Have you ever listened to the CD distributed by Disney? I wish Disney would make a new version because the narrator's voice sounds like she is talking to a 2year old child. I can't think of the performers name but everything else about the CD makes it enjoyable to listen to so I would still recommend it.

But I swear he sounded like he had a couple of drinks (or more). But I do want to say I had a great time anyways. I still get teary eyed when everyone sings Silent Night.
