If what I've read is true, HKDL is the fastest DL to receive its 2nd park. (6-7 years after the first park opened)

    Facts:
    DL-1955, DCA-2001, 46 years
    WDW MK-1971, Epcot-1982, 11 years
    TDL-1983, TDS-2001, 18 years
    DP-1992, WDS-2002, 10 years

Can we all say "HKWDS"? Doesn't quite roll off the tongue, but we'll get use to it ;D.

Yes. I already got my 'special day' dated ticket and am ready to tackle the crowds, and document every fist fight that breaks out and every child that is thrown over the front entrance fence.

    It's fun being a world-wide disney phantom shopper ;)

LOL, who is ;). Have fun shopping and make sure to buy you one of those special Disney baby sling shots HKDL started selling after New Year's. It can catapult a kid in the park within 10 feet and not go to high so he won't hurt himself when he lands on a character.

It's ALL the rage in Hong Kong. I was going to pick me up one just in case, but decided its better to climb over the fence with your hands instead. I'm working out more and could use the exercise ;D.

Enjoy the fireworks, I definitely love them.

Re: the fireworks, I was wondering if anyone has seen them from the hotel? I had a parkview room, and I noticed the TV had a channel to tune to for the fireworks, but it turned out that every night I watched them from Main St.

BTW... we were told by the CM checking us in that evening that we could hear and see the pyro from our room. I wonder if this service is only available in rooms facing the park...
