That seems like a relatively short window (2 months) for some guests, who may only have 2 or 3 trips per year and could easily miss that time period. Likewise, it seems odd that it says you can keep your paper ticket, since all signs indicate that they will be removing all of the traditional turnstyles in favor of the tap-and-go system. Perhaps they've phased the construction so that there will still be some regular turnstyles left before the last of the paper APers have to renew.

Originally Posted By Brad SO WEIRD!!!! I visited the US in 2001 and bought a DL and WDW AP. I still have them(souvenirs)and the DL one WAS plastic back THEN and the WDW one is paper. Still don't understand why things like this are done so differently between the two coasts!
