The man, who's identity was not immediately released, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, according to sheriff's office spokesman Jim Solomons. "At this point in the investigation it appears as though the wife and granddaughter got on the ride," which consists of moving vehicles designed to look like miniature pirate ships, Solomons wrote in a news release. "The man apparently fell off of the moving conveyor belt into the path of the next vehicle." Solomons said because the man's injuries are not serious and there is no crime associated with the incident the Sheriff's Office is clearing the scene and will conduct no investigation.

Could not figure out how he could fall. Anyway, WDW is absolutely super when anything happens. I commend the CM's; the whole bunch. Hmmmm, this just made me think of that seeing the age of the man on Peter Pan.

I feel bad for the man, there for a great time with his grandkids -- and am so happy it appears he will be alright !

It is amazing that Disney feels that their rides are SO safe that they can actually use the State Board to C.Y.A. themselves. I know accidents happen but still, it's good to know that Disney welcomes the state to look over it's shoulder.

I mean HM / SSE etc also have moving walkways - almost every attraction takes some dexterity to enter and exit -- I would hate to see signs everywhere too. There are moving sidewalks in airports and escalators in malls -- everyone should know their own limitations to some point-- and if one needs to ask for assistance, do so...everyone deserves a chance to ride

For whatever reason, Peter Pan gave her trouble.

I understand lawyers now forbid Disney to allow CMs to offer a helping hand to such elderly or disabled guests (unlike in my days as a CM when I would not hesitate to offer my arm for anyone to support him/herself onto..and I still do to this day on my planes) These accidents are so unnecesary.. and I wonder how long it will be before the lawsuit is filed...
