So, I'm calling for a DavewasBaloo "mental health week"...who else thinks he should blow off work entirely, tell the jackasses that he's got the flu or an extremely contagious case of pink eye or whatever...and JUST...CHILL!!?? Anyone with me?

If he doesn't, take the whole week. If he does, take enough time off to relax but not enough to worry about what's waiting for him upon his return. If all else fails, we'll take the week off and tell him how relaxing it was. ; )

I have the type of role, where many of us work from home, even when sick. So something tells me taking short notice time will just make everything worse. So the sentiments are great, but sadly it is back to work on Tuesday. In the meantime, I will just kick back and enjoy the weekend (stopped dieting yesterday as I enjoyed BQ steak burgers and fat coke - so bad, but sooooo good!)
