Guests will be given a pirate bandana to wear and I'm (hopefully) making two pirate ship cakes with a little rowboat cake just for Jake to smash. I did a test run on the cake today and failed miserably so we may end up with a bakery cake.

For games I'm thinking about a cannonball toss using black water balloons and a Pin the Eyepatch on Captain Jacob game.

The party will be mostly adults, around 30 people. My house is fairly small so we'll probably have most of it out in our backyard. It's a rather large area with absolutly no landscaping, just dirt and rocks and a small patio. Anyone have any other fun ideas?

You can call the punch rum and any adult beverages grog or vise versa and the snacks sea tac or rations.

some of this is for older kids but sometimes it is easy for me to adjust to different ages once I have an idea to work from. Coming up with the ideas is hard for me...

Let me know if you need help, heaven knows I have had practice!
