Anyone have any favorite viewing spots of parades and fireworks in the parks? I am thinking of doing the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party to view fireworks in the MK. Anyone done this?

Don't expect to be able to sit at your table to view - people get up and stand along the railing, which really seems to bother some people, but there is plenty of room and it is very relaxed and we really enjoyed it. Tink flies right overhead. Very cool.

In Epcot I like to stand in front of the Canada pavilion. It kinda looks like this spot isn't that good, with trees and rocks in the way, so it doesn't fill up early. Get there 15 minutes before showtime and you're in a perfect spot with a great view.

People will move up to the railing, and there are many more people than the available railing. Compounding the problem is the overhead, which blocks the view of some of the fireworks. Remember too, the fireworks are centered on the castle, and the party sets up the viewing from the side. I like standing where Main Street meets the hub.

For EPCOT, I prefer viewing from Germany. Part of the problem with Illuminations is that the trees have grown up so much around the World Showcase Lagoon that unless your right up against the railing then your view of goings on in the World Showcase Lagoon are blocked. Part of the fun of watching various parades and firewords displays at WDW is watching them from different locations.

For MK fireworks anywhere in the hub for us we did have the Dessert party booked last time there but missed it through the icelandic volcano debacle.
For epcot fireworks anywhere around the lagoon is cool but you need to get in place early.
