As far as the judges Keith has some interesting things to say, Nikki is outrageous but I think quite funny, Randy is Randy dawg & Mariah, well Mariah when she really says something has very constructive tips for the contestants but most of the time she looks bored, talks in a bad bizarre English accent and love tight barely there clothes with her boobs always out and about. She looks like an Amazon next to the rest of the panel. It's very odd in my opinion. LOL

Keith Urban said something kindly constructive. Randy started to say something about her being "only 15" and that seemed to be enough viewing for me for this season Maybe if I had watched from the beginning and got to know the judges personalities I'd be more forgiving. OR I'm over the reality/contest shows (except for cooking shows

Chiefly Candice and Kree. Candice is to my mind by far the most gifted. Her tone is unbelievable, and she knows how to put a lyric across without overdoing it. You believe her when she sings. She has plenty of subtlety and she also has power without being histrionic. Love her. My next favorite is Kree, who has a kind of earth mother quality I like, but who seems still uncomfortable on stage sometimes. Amber keeps getting better, but she doesn't have the effortlessly smooth low range Candice has. My main complaint about Angie is that while she has a fine voice, she IS susceptible to overacting while she sings. To the point of annoying sometimes. It seemed to me that the past few weeks they have been (rightly) praising Candice and Kree, and decided last night to be a little tougher on them (or damn with faint praise), thus building up Amber and Angie to make it a tighter race. Angie WAS good last night, but she didn't hit the sublime heights Candice has for the past several weeks - not even close, and she also oversang/overacted again. I get that she's young, but there's something "high school play" about her sometimes. That said, she could very well win. She probably appeals more to the core Idol demographic, and it's not like the wrong person hasn't won before; in fact, they have as often as not.

I haven't been into Idol the last couple of years (and notice this thread for the whole year has a whopping 13 posts - a few years ago AI threads got literally hundreds, with blow-by-blows of the performances), and only got back into it again because Candice and Kree were so good.
