I rode Dinosaur at DAK on November 2. There are no plans whatsoever to close it. I talked to a Cm about the ride for 30 minutes because I lost my wallet ON the ride. YES they actually FOUND it! IT was turned in by the guy who rode in that car after me. It was laying in the seat when he got on and he handed it to a CM.

I returned, and told a CM. He took me to the photo stand and had the girl there review the photos to find which car I was on. They then took the car number and went to search that particular car while another person searched the lost and found at the ride itself.

Really cool stuff. My wife lost a pager on the same ride last year, it took 2 days but eventually it was found as well during after closing walk thru.

Anyway, it's not a "ride" you could simply "move." Re-theming may be a possibility, but it isn't GOING anywhere.

(Incidently, the dinosaur in DAK was named Lucky. The attraction, on the other hand, was named Countdown to Extinction.)

I don't have all the details clear, but I remember seeing a documentary about dinosaurs a few years ago. It had lots of dinosaurs that had gotten loose somehow, some sort of wild animal park on an island, and now that I think of it, quite a few jeeps that ran on a track (actually, it may have been trackless technology now that I think of it). Sounds similar to the plot of Jurassic Park. While that would certainly be fun, it might be a bit of a copyright infringement. It would also be really tough to get legal rights to it, since there is already the JP boat ride in IOA across town.
