But Bender's Game was rather weak, mostly a collection of gags satirizing LOTR and the last summer's gas crunch. Here's hoping that "Into the wild green yonder", the 4th and probably last Futurama movie, will be better.

That movie was a collection of unfunny gags in a story that should have been left on the cutting room floor. Bender's Game I really enjoyed! It actually had two reveals that make sense to the overall show. A lot of great and funny gags. Very strong writing. The entire LOTR part was unnecessary and seemed like just a way to pad the movie, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I read that Into the Wile Green Yonder was supposed to be an epic like Bender's Big Score.

Dungeons and Dragons jokes? Really? No, really??? I fell asleep at one point. I woke up and Fry was doing a Gollum imitation. Didn't they have at least a couple of weeks to write some funny material? Side note - I gave my 10th grade English class the book "Ender's Game" today. As a larf, I asked the class if anyone watches Futurama. Half the class raised their hands, the majority of them girls. Weeeeeird.
