On the plus side, they have brought back ONION RINGS (I was so happy I almost cried lol)...on the negative side it still is way too expensive (a regular cheeseburger is 220 yen!) and too few and far between...and most disturbing was the fact that the restaurant was pretty run-down and DIRTY (this after only a few months in operation).

I think Burger King is, maybe, not working out yet again.

So, Burger King fans, run to Nishi-Shinjuku, in the food court of the i-land building, and enjoy while you can...me thinks BK is about to die a second death in Japan!

Weird. Sad. And made me think "uh oh".

Still fresh and tasty food though...go figure.

Maybe it is owned or run by some Chinese guy. I am Chinese, so I can say that. :p

That's certainly possible. But the first couple of times I went there it was slammed. They had rope lines and a posted "30 minute wait" sign which wasn't that far off.

That might have been opening hype of course. But to go from that to dead (on a Friday at dinner time) seemed pretty odd to me.

Anyway, I HOPE they are successful because I don't wanna see Burger King leave Japan again (the first time was tragic enough lol).

Don't know if spreading the word will help much...all the Americans I know already know about it. Japanese people could care less, by and large (heck, they've never even heard of TGIFridays, again "by and large", and there are several in Tokyo!).

Yes, I heard there were a few more, but the only one I found was the one in i-Land, Nishi-Shinjuku (well "found isn't quite right, as I searched it out lol).
