Originally Posted By danyoung I've recently posted this elswewhere, but it bears repeating. The projection system that was designed for Soarin' comes with a special clear plastic loop of film that runs at very high speed, cleaning the gate and keeping dust and hair off of the film. In DL, this system runs very smoothly. For some reason in WDW the drive for the clear film stops from time to time, showing you all of the bad scratches and junk on the clear film itself. It'll stop for 10 seconds or so, then start up again, then stop again. I've mentioned this more than once to CM's, who always say that they'll look into it. I think it's a truly horrible piece of show, and Soarin' should be shut down till this is fixed. A hair or a dust ball totally ruins the illusion of hang gliding that they've tried so hard to create. Very very bad show, Disney!

Would like to see them change the film more often.
