I so remember wanting to take my young kids on the big rides. I got my Daughter on Space Mt. when she was right at the height and it freaked her out.

As a parent I guess we have to remember they are still little kids. Don't worry, they get big fast enough.

Our son, 7 at the time, like Matterhorn, but did not like the yeti. You can't discount how seriously kids take stuff like that.

I can't imagine taking the younger ones on it, but every kid and every family is different.

If I can still hold on to her I think I'll take her on it.

I am probably rushing things a bit - i just don't know when we will be back and would like her to experience as much as she can. I know she will have fun no matter what! I did google the video of the ride and had my daughter watch - she said it looked scary so i guess we will just have to wait.
    Thanks again!!!

I think she'd go on California Screamin' if they'd let her.

We always give them the choice and never encourage one way or the other. "It's your choice." "This ride is fast." etc. We tell them what it's like and that they may like it, they may not. And that it's okay if they like or don't like it.

But if they go on it and don't like it, it's been hard to get them to go on it again when they're older. I have a 10 yr old who still won't go on Indiana Jones. Her 7 yr old brother wants to ride it over and over and over...
