Originally Posted By OrlandoBoi The parade was okay-I was at the very first preview showing a few weeks back. I found the whole "cirque de Soleil" look of the animals to be a little too deconstructionist and maybe I was just in the mood for a basic Disney parade with more rubberheads. One thing I DID appreciate very much was the energy of the CM's. The day I saw it(a Monday)it was as humid a day as I have ever felt(disgustingly so actually!)and these people NEVER stopped. I can only begin to imagine what the CM's in the character suits must have been feeling like-certainly if nothing else, a good way to shed a few kilo's! Overall it was a good parade but it had a few dry spots along the way and was a bit sparse. This may have been however due to the fact that it was an early run. Oh and I don't know if it has been altered now but the route was VERY strange. After the parade passed me(just out of Harambe)I and several other guests with me attempted to walk off down to the left to Asia(to get SOAKING WET on Kali and hopefully cool off). We were stymied however due to the fact that the parade was to come BACK UP through Asia and that road was blocked by(overzealous)CM's. This was strange because I have seen on many occassions people being allowed across thoroughfares by CM's with those glow wand things during even BRIEF breaks in a parades flow. It was strange here that we were not allowed to walk down a deserted and empty street because TEN MINUTES from now a parade would be coming up it. So I was basically stuck there and had to sit and watch it come back up FROM Asia, a second time. VERY annoying.

That said, it was very visually appealing, and interesting how they tried pulling off a parade with AK's limited walkway space.
