I'll explain more when I find "you," but is there anyone who remembers the wonderful Saturday matinees at the Rolling Hills Theater back in the mid-late '60s?

    Thanks guys... :)

I'm just hoping they're MIGHT be somebody here who shared a similar memory related to this theater / timeframe.

From 1966 thhrough 1974 I lived in Chicago, and visited my grandparents in RPV in 1970, 1972 and the summer of 1974 before we moved back. I had an aunt who would take us to see whatever Disney movie was there, like the Boatniks or something similar.

I have a couple of 'feelers' out through old grammar school classmates, too. Just need to confirm one small and probably pretty vague 'ritual' that took place there on Saturdays... To set my mind at rest and tell me it wasn't just my imagination. (The theater is gone now, partially due to an awful occurrence there). If you'd like to take a look, the source of my obsession is here:

It may take awhile to load, the site is always pretty slow.
