Originally Posted By TINK-MOBILE Good Morning, Well the storm is now over, it lasted here in Cloverdale BC ...CANADA for some time last evening, the lightening was Spectacular and very Dangerous at the same time, Ambulance and police crews had their sirens blaring for quite some time, the down pour was relentless, we have not had such a storm for a very long time hope evryone got thru it safely, you are much closer to the mountains mary poppins, bet you had a lot of trees down up there....despite the down pour, we saw making people think it was fun to spin their cars out , we had a birthday dinner for our son and coming home from the venetis testurante was something else last evening, with hard to see out of rain , lightening and the crazy drivers, it was an eventful evening just getting home..the down pour lasted until the early morning, right now the skies have cleared but you have the early london morning mist dangling in the air, it will clear up, then we should have a beautiful day, Shadow was scared as well when we got home, boy was he happy to see us...have a great day...Seattle is only a few hours away just over the border, expect you all had much of the same weather, we had..our sister lives in tacoma, they had big lightening there..dancing in the rain...was a great hit.....

During the calm, my son went out to the driving range in Pitt Meadows. I didn't want him out in the storm but he went. After he'd gone, the storm let loose on us. Then, our storm sewer plugged and we almost had a flood in the garage. I had a metal prong to clear the holes in the drain, but I would have had to go outside which I did. But the lightening was all around and I said "What am I doing out in an electrical storm?" I just had to let the area flood because I didn't want to be electrocuted. Finally, it was clear to go outside and I waded to the drain.
