Out to eat - Indian - I can't get it quite right or Chinese/Japanese as it is fiddly to prepare a variety.

Favorite cuisine, tough, but if cornered I would say Thai, especially if you can find a good hole in the wall dive run by a family who only have enough English to get by. None of those around here, but I know a place in Hollywood that's been run by the same family for maybe 20 years. I cook just regular American fare at home, tacos and spaghetti is American, right? If I want good Thai food or something fancy/chefy I go out.

Asian and Mexican...I am partial to super spicy Thai and super HOT authentic Mexican food...al pastor MMMMmmmm!

Again, not sure if this qualifies as a cuisine, but I love Marie Callendar's salad bar. I couldn't have all of those choices for the same price at home.

I'd say healthy Tex-Mex. i.e., the Tex-Mexiest (look, a new word!) recipes I can find. My two main cookbooks are Cooking Light and America's Test Kitchen. What cuisine do you must go out and eat? Tie: Tex-Mex, Wings, and Italian.
