At the least, the building will no longer be used for Meet-n-Greets.

That's EPCOT's Journey into "your" Imagination. Figment is not seen in any other Disney park except at EPCOT Center.

Oops, off topic. Are there any rumors or definites about what will replace Timekeeper? Since two "recent" Tomorrowland attractions are movie based, I wonder if Tk's replacement will be too. Something Chicken Little-ish?

God, do I miss the glass elevator ride to the upper level... and what painful feeling overcomes me when I think that the current Princesses Room in MouseGear was once the site of an EPCOT *attraction*!!! Imagine that!!!!

I went in 92. I remember the first part of the attraction was the imagination guy (I thought his name was the Timekeeper but maybe not) and he was talking to figment. Then the second part was a circlevision type show with the two.

Trust me on this Elderp... EPCOT's Figment or DreamFinder (who is the guy from Imagination) have *never* been seen outside EPCOT anywhere! ...and yes.. The Treehouse and Visionarium were opened in 1993 during the 10th anniversary celebration.
As for Visionarium... you are confused to some degree... Just like DLP, the TDL presentation included a video preshow featuring the same AA characters you saw inside the theater. They were Timekeeper (yes like the WDW attraction) and Nine-Eye, the robot Timekeeper sends thru time in his time machine. In the preshow... Timekeeper introduces 9-Eye and talks about time travel, Jules Verne and HG Wells...etc etc. ... And THAT is what you saw.

It's not the Robin Williams ride. I suspect this is the original attraction from Disneyland Paris. After this, we rode Space Mountain then headed off to Fantasy Land for more Pooh Fastpasses. The Fastpass line was now only 5 minutes so we got 2 Fastpasses. At 10:45 a.m., our return time was 4:15 p.m."

But for the record.. I annot arguing with you the point that the attraction's main AA character name is indeed Timekeeper, but the sidekick's name has always been Nine Eye. If they refered to him as "Figment" in the headphone translation, then that was a mistake made by the production team. Personally, I never heard the english translation because I understand french and remember the plot as presented in Paris in it's original language, so I never saw the need to hear the show in english in Tokyo.

But look in your old TDL english guidebook and you will see the name of the attraction is "Visionarium".
