Now, I know how things can get twisted the further down the line something is told so I figured I would come straight to the source and someone here would be able answer the question. I know this sounds like a really silly question but are there fish in the pool at the Y&BC?

No fish! There is a sand bottom, but it is indeed a POOL and there are no fish in it!

They've been gone for many years. I suspect that the levels of chemicals that they need to have in the pool would not be friendly to fish.

    IMHO, it was really neat.

Of course you might want to have fish (and their by-products) rather than what you might have from babies/small children, lol.

^^Oh, and they have a really nice baby/children pool which is separate from the main pool. I don't know if they share the same water system.

There are two resident ducks that swim in the pool at the GF also.
