The park was opening at 8 and we tried to get in there little after 7. I think the only change that I'm thinking of with the EA (early admission) is instead of 90 minutes early, it's an hour early now? So we'd think ok, if it opens at 8, 90 minutes before = 6:30. Instead, we were pretty much free to stroll the park bright and early in the morning, with not so many people yet. Thing is of course, the rides don't open til the park is officially open. I don't have a clue how it's done today, but just to comment on the subject, I think they checked if you had some slip or stub with you for early admission. And of course you got this if you were a guest at any of the Disneyland Hotels. I don't think I've ever used it for Main Street though. The only times I used it were at the Monorail Station. I think the Carnation Cafe and Blue Ribbon Bakery are open?
