It actually has a very nice Colonial themed entrance, a small western themed section, and a very loosely themed Gotham City area that just basically slaps super hero or villain names on rides. The best rides to check out are the two wooden coasters, Roar and Wild One. Wild One is actually a moved historic coaster from the former Paragon Park in Hull, MA. Another must do ride is Superman Ride of Steel. This huge hypercoaster is short on theming, but huge on thrills. If you like coasters, don't miss this one. Other coasters include Joker's Jinx (a launched looping coaster), Batwing (a 'flying' coaster) that's similar to ones at Carowinds and Kings Island and the former Geauga Lake) and Mind Eraser (a inverted looping coaster). There's a unique log flume there that turns riders backwards midway through, however, it has had some technical problems and hasn't operated regularly for years (if it's even still there!) Most of the other rides here are standard amusement park staples including a large Ferris wheel, swinging ship, carousel, and other spinning type rides. The park also boasts a large waterpark, so bring your swimsuit if you like. Overall, SFA is one of the 'lesser' park experiences out there. Some good rides, but mostly standard amusement park fare. It's not in the same league as some of the larger Six Flags parks like SF Great Adventure, Magic Mountain, Great America, or Six Flags Over Texas or Georgia. But, as at any amusement park, I'm sure that you'll have fun there if you're into roller coasters, thrill rides, and waterparks.
