    This is without a doubt one of my favorite albums ever.

    BTW, Any Beatle's fan should be sure to pick up Cirque Du Soleil's CD of their Vegas "Love" show....The songs used sound like listening to them for the very first time....A really good CD....

    And yes, the Love album (Cirque du Soleil) is fantastic. The mashups are great, and some of them have so many elements you have to listen many times before you catch all of them.

    Hmmm, good question VBDAD, but a very difficult one to answer. Revolver did transcend, but I think "being there" helps it (I wasn't sadly around then). I love the difference and production value of Sgt Pepper's and Abbey Road. But to me the greatest is the White Album. The melodies and angst in that record are legendary.

Unfortunately, it also had an entire album side (double album) that wasn't worth the gun powder to blow it to H E double hockey sticks. I don't know what they were thinking or if that was Yoko's influence but what ever it was it was awful. Number 9, Number 9, Number 9 simply awful.
