The BF called yesterday for our trip October 5-8. Same as listed above. I called today, and nada.

But it's good through December, so I got them for *MY birthday trip! I books Concierge City View, since we'll be blocked out on Saturday, it'd be nice to be able to spend time on property. :)

He told the CM that we had AP's and there was no mention of the AP rates that had just started :( I was busy that day and we were out of town for the next 2 days and I didn't have much time for LP.

DH is calling now to check for rates for a Dec trip. I know that the CM's at reservations aren't obligated to tell us about specials or maybe they don't even know but sheesh anyway.

Guess I need to get an Iphone or whatever to keep in constant touch with LP.

The rates for our nights in Oct at the Grand couldn't be changed :( but our son's at PPH could have been changed if he wanted City View instead of DCA View.

For mid Dec. he booked a View Room with Concierge at PPH for $189 per night plus tax! I kind of wanted to go for Candlelight this year but we'll make a special point of going next year.

Thank you Slim22 for posting this :) Just wanted to let everyone know that the rates are still available for some dates :)

DH said he understood that now but it still seemed sort of weird. The CM repeated that YOU have to ask for it. DOH! DH then ASKED for the AP rates with the code for our August and October dates and the CM happily looked for better rates for him :)

It must be sort of frustrating for the CM's to sometimes know there are better rates but aren't allowed to offer them.
