    Any thoughts on the hotel?

    Many thanks!

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites on Manchester this past June and loved it! Here's a little info that might help.

The 8-person room we had had 2 queen beds in one room, a king bed in the other room, and a pull out bed in the main room. I'm not too sure how much room there would be in the pull out bed for 2 high school sized kids, but our 4 and 6 year olds fit great. We actually brought a blow-up mattress and put that on the floor for our 12 year old.

The breakfast is incredible--we loved it! It was all-you-can-eat eggs, waffles, pancakes, french toast, fruit, cereal, etc. They didn't always have each item each day but there was plenty to choose from. It was worth a lot to my family to start the day with a great meal.

The pool is pretty decently sized and is shared with the hotel next door. It was never too crowded for us. There is also a hot tub that holds 15-20 people, I think. There is also a sports court and there are basketballs available at the front desk.

The ART shuttle runs from the hotel to Disneyland, though I'm guessing with that many kids you may have your own bus for transportation already.

We'd definitely stay there again. We've also stayed at the Residence Inn on Harbor Boulevard in Garden Grove, about 1 mile down from Disneyland, and had a room that slept 8 with the massive complimentary breakfast and liked it just as well.

If you have any specific questions, post them here and I'll try to help. I'm sure others will chime in too, since many people gave great recommendations on the place when we were considering staying there.

    Have a fun trip!

The layout sounds good also, since I can be in a room with a king then put the kids in seperate rooms.

    Is it a full kitchen?

The teenagers, and the budget, will love the breakfast. It truthfully allowed us to just eat one meal in Disneyland later in the day then eat dinner back at the hotel at night.

One other thing, a couple nights during the week they had receptions--I don't know if they do it year-round or not but you could call them. Anyway, we never made it to them (they were a little too early for us to be back yet) but apparently 2 of the nights were ligher snacks but one night was a full-on barbeque with hamburgers and hotdogs.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

p.s., Yes I realized after I posted that you mentioned you had the buses to take you to the parks, so please ignore my ART shuttle comment :)

Great news about stove and microwave, and especially the fridge!

    So the rooms were clean?
