Well it seemed to be working to draw crowds into the ride. While on the final scene of the carousel the ride froze. Needless to say we had to sit through the christmas scene three times, before finally being directed to proceed to the rear exits as CoP was experiencing technical difficulties. Maybe the ride was seeing too much traffic to be able to operate appropriately. Its been a long time since its been that active. I know when we ride there is usually like 3 or 4 other families, maybe, riding with us. It to us is a place to cool down for a little while. But all in all the ride was down for maybe only like 5 minutes if that, so curious as to what happened.

But, yeah, watching the same COP scene over and over really zaps the fun-factor.

So they run around the building again, and dyrring that time guest tend to get impatient, even though it was there fault to start with, and more leave. So typically one guest, will cause us to have to evac the ride.

The argument that the parts are no longer available is not even worthy of scorn. They built the theater from scratch in 1964, no parts...all fabricated. So tell me that with today's technology they cannot duplicate anything if they really wanted too. I am encouraged that they are at least trying to promote it again. It seems like there has been a lot of positive feedback about it.
