In we went to book this morning, and the flight is fully booked!!! Not only that, the prices had gone up £300 ! So because of that we have had to alter our hotel and the airline. So we are now going to the Pop Century resort. And flying with Virgin Airlines. Which are my favourite. They were doing a special offer if we could have gone a few weeks earlier of a free DDP...wow! but we cant alter the dates. So Im EXCITED!!!!!!

Whereas I want to go to DL and DLP all the time.

My SinL still rants about how great the Indiana Jones ride there was.

Also a realistic amount of time to see both parks at a very leisurely pace.

I need my Orlando fix every 2 years. I love Europe too obviously, but for us, nothing has ever ticked as many boxes for us as America.
Originally Posted By sarahwithbaloo <<right now I would hazard a guess it has to do with the Euro - Dollar exchange rate....>> It may be if it was a new situation bought on by the exchange rate but it is not just that. Alot of Europeons for some reason think DLP is not a REAL Diney park this I feel is a misconception bought on by the finacial problems of the park. People ask me Where I am going I say DLP they say oh Paris not the real Disneyland in Florida then (to which I usually bluntly respond that there is no Disneyland in Florida that is Disney World, ) Mind you someone said that too me when I told them we were going to California as well gee did I look at them as though the ground was going to swallow them. (Oh you are not going to the proper one then?) Basically the problem for most Europeons is that Bigger is better and who cares about theming or Quality as long as they can go on rides the whole of there holiday.
