We've called the lost & found office every day since, but no luck. I really hope the person who picked it up does the right thing and returns it. I know their are good, honest people out there. I just hope one of them picked up our camera!

I worked in Lost and Found at Knott's for a few years and I assure you, both Disney's and Knott's Lost and Found are top-notch and will do all they can to find your item if it is turned in.

We had a purse with over $8,000+ cash in it sit in our locked area for hours. It turned into a case of one person thought one person had it, and the other person thought the other had it. They were just thrilled. It was the one time I had to have the head of security with me to verify the person's ID and such.

    Dentures!

A lot of retainers (usually in napkins).

Very expensive cameras. (We figured that people assumed everyone on the planet was evil and therefore didn't do a lost report).

TONS OF: Hats and cheap cameras and wet clothes (From the water rides).

The diamonds might not have been real but the gold was stamped . She really wanted to keep it, but after we explained that the person who lost it was probably very upset and looking for it, she decided to turn it in. It was one of my proudest moments and is now a magical memory. She stills says "Dad do you think that person got their bracelet" every year when we enter MK. All I can do is grin because she did the right thing

I too hope someone turned it in. I'ld be willing to bet that camara's are in the top 5-10(maybe even higher)things lost @ WDW and the shear # of them makes it more time consuming to sort thru.

I imagine they group them by date & location found but the # of items lost in 1 day @ any location is most likely staggering. So keep trying.

Unfortunately there are a lot of folks on this planet that don't seem to have boundries so what's their's is their's and what's your's is their's as well. You may not see your camara again.

Again I'm sorry you lost your camara but on the bright side you found your way on to LP and we have some pretty interesting and great folks here!
