I have had no problems since then until a couple of weeks ago, I too had kidney stones and that was horrible.

Try to stay away from fried foods until the surgery for some reason, that is what really bothered me.

Good luck and keep us updated, I will be sending good vibes to you!

If they can do it laproscopically (which they usually do nowadays) you get 4 little holes and you're in and out. I think my surgery was at 11am, I was out of surgery by 1230p and home by 530p that night. And that's only because the nurses were really busy and forgot about me for a couple hrs. I too only missed a couple days of work....best of luck! And drink lots of water, helps your gallbladder digest and keeps the stones still = less pain hopefully!

They didn't tell me that and I ate some chili I had made and I threw up and hurt and was extremely sick to my stomach for two days because of it. I hope that you can get it out quickly too. I had to wait 3 weeks because I wasn't in an emergency situation. It sucked because I couldn't eat hardly anything unless I wanted the wrath of an attack. But like everybody else I had it laparoscopically and was up and about in a few days. Good Luck!

Don't worry about work - your health is what is important right now.

so ill have to call out of work the next few days which is really bad because at disney you get points for calling in sick unless you can get some sort of doctors note and then you can be out for at least three days with only three points instead of three points per day but my doctor can not give me one until he sees me and the ER i went to says they cant give me one that i have to get one from my doctor a kaiser, and i explained to both of them my work situation but there is nothing they can do! they keep telling me that i have to get it from the opposite person. this is getting frustrating!
