    1. Go Straight to the Disneyland entrance turnstiles.

    2. When at the turnstile, show your printed piece of paper (barcode). In just a few seconds, the CM at the gate will scan the barcode and print a voucher (credit card size).

    3. Take the voucher to the Bank of Main Street (east side of Town Square/Train Station).

    4. Bank of Main Street will process your AP and take your photo, if the line seems long, you can do it later in the day, but you need to do it before you leave.

I'm purchasing my AP at the front desk at check-in for PPH. I booked the AP rate but I need to buy my Ap when I get there. I guess they don't do any processing at the hotel?

So, yes, you can start getting Fastpasses PRIOR to turning in the AP Voucher, since it has the barcode in the lower left, and works in the FP machines.

The 3 Disney owned hotels print the exact same voucher as the turnstile CM's do for those with an e-ticket. Just show it to enter, and use in the FP machines. The same rule applies, you need to redemn the voucher at the Bank of Main Street prior to closing on your first visit.

You have saved my kids the pain of waiting for my AP before getting in line for Nemo!
If the line at the Bank on Main St. is short I'll just do it, otherwise I'll wait til we get a few rides in.

Does everyone pretty much get their AP processed on their way out of the park?

We are planning to buy a multi-day pass in November. Using one EE day and then converting it to an AP at our leisure. This eliminates blackout dates (which there are none for the days we are planning to go) and gives us the leisure to convert before our pass expires. Just a thought.

Jealous you'll be on Nemo soon. Enjoy your trip!

I've never been in there before.

We probably won't go to DCA on the first day, we arrive Sunday in the late afternoon, so probably going to try to do all the cool evening stuff at DL the first day.

When we were staying off property (earlier in my trip planning) that was my plan also..converting a 5 day park hopper into an AP after using the EE. But now that we're staying at PPH, I don't really need to worry about taking advantage of the EE first.

    Can't wait to ride Nemo!

And I have even seen the exchange of E-tickets to the cards happen but it did not register in my brain. A good day-I learned something.
And it wes good to see you and Lisa on the 17th.
