This will be for data that I'm going to delete off my computer, so do I want a mirrored drive? Speed isn't too important as I won't be archiving files on a daily basis. Do I want RAID? I really don't know what this stuff even means... Here are two I'm looking at now: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop /firewire/1394/USB/EliteAL/MirrorRAID/ http://tinyurl.com/ytq895 (Supposedly this iomega can be formatted as 2 x 500GB mirrored drives. Why is it $100 cheaper than the OWC tho?) TIA!

The bonus with the mirrored raid is that its a double back-up. So if oine of those drives failes than you have that one more piece of mind. I hve not trusted Iomega for some time now so my recommendation would be to NOT go with them if you go for the mirrored raid. Just my opinion.
