Also (and this is speculative on my part) there seems to be less obvious physical issues attached to being 3ft than 9ft.

I know tall people have problems too. My boss is tall and it is funny when he has to use my computer since I have my desk designed for my height. He can barely fit at my desk.

So, it goes both ways, really.

    And I am 5' 2".

Like Ursula, I am 5'2" (well, close anyway) and it makes you feel so juvenile to have your feet dangling when you sit in a chair or on the couch (and especially a public toilet). And like her, I never can reach things on the top shelf in a store. I am forever looking around for some tall person to "please" hand me something down. And store clerks are never around when you want them. I have gone so far as to climb IN my grocery cart and hang on to the shelves so the cart doesn't move while I get something up high. But tall people don't necessarily have it so good either. You should see Schmitty in Shiva's Firebird. :p
and then there are all those tall jokes... but 3 ft. and 9 ft. are extremes in either direction and come with their own sets of problems. But I'm used to being short so I guess it wouldn't be such a "stretch" for me. LOL

Good point. The tallest man was 8'11" tall and he ate about 8,000 calories a day.

But then on the other hand. As expensive as food is getting, I would run out of money and starve to death.
