When we go for a birthday even if we weren't there on the day we still wear the button. The party is fun - it's about 45 min and you do singing and Pat E Cake has a cake decorating contest. Everyone gets a cake to do. Then mickey and minnie come out do a conga line and then do pictures under the MY DISNEYLAND BIRTHDAY sign... You get hats and a souvineer cup.

How often you have a birthday party ON your birthday, not very often... ... anyway, villains has accuratly described the party, it's fun. One important part: no one gets in without paying. You can't just come in to "watch". You can choose not to participate, but all are paying guests.

Originally Posted By Merriweather Thanks for all the info. Sounds like she'll love the party. We did the character breakfast when she was 3, now she's 6, wanted to do something special, by the time we go again she may not be as into the character (then again, I like them, and I'm, well, nevermind.....).

I remember in my teens, we all knew to beware of Pluto one summer - he had a habbit of blending in near store displays of stuffed animals and then jumping out, or grabbing hats off peoples heads (mainly to teenage girls, lol).

So you don't know who will be waiting for you around the corner? I'm really curious now how this works and how many princess/princes you get to see. I guess Ariel must have feet now or is her shell covered over when someone else takes her place? Merriweather, I hope this hijack it OK with you

Last time we thought about doing it (about 9 mos ago) they wouldn't tell us what princesses were there because it can change.
