It caused 52 stitches, and a broken neck He had undergone surgery. He was alert, and was joking, and seemed to be doing fine. He suffered a massive heart attack that may have been the result of the surgery. This is what I have put together from several reports I have read on the internet. My regrets if they differ from what actually happened.
Originally Posted By MPierce A report from his pastor states the same thing about striking his head against the wall. It said 55 stitches, and his neck was broken in 3 places, but no paralysis. He was scheduled to go home within the next few days. Due to the accident a blood clot formed, and claimed his life. By all accounts he was a great guy. Very sad, and a loss to WDW.
