About 2/3 of the way through this article there is a photo of Marc Davis, with an attractive young lady leaning over his shoulder. The caption identifies the pair as Marc and his wife Alice. But it's not Alice Davis. It's Mary Costa, the star of Sleeping Beauty! You can even see a model sheet clearly labeled "Sleeping Beauty" on the wall behind them.

    A TSI experience in Epcot.

There were some other interesting parts too:

    >>>One proposal that came and went was for a Denmark pavilion in Epcot based on Hans Christian Anderson. It would have featured an ice skating rink. "After thinking about it, we dropped that one pretty quickly," Baxter said, alluding to the potential of a boatload of lawsuits.<<<

And yet they opened an Ice Rink at the Hotel New York in DLP.

Also, I was surprised to see a lot of other famous ones missing from the artical:

The Russian Pavillion with Sleigh ride; the Rhein Cruise in Germany; The Greek, Spanish and Israeli Pavilions of World Showcase; Dick Tracy Crime Stoppers, Baby Herman Buggy ride, and Roger Rabbit's Trolley ride at MGM; The Great Muppet Movie Ride; The Excavator Coaster in Dinoland at DAK; and of course the Dragon Coaster and the Labrynth of the never built Beastly Kingdom. I am sure there are many others too.

A friend in Imagineering told me several years later that the reason Mt Fuji was dropped was that the Japanese were insulted that Disney wanted to put a coaster in their sacred mountain. I also heard that they couldnt find a sponsor.

The figures for Meet the World were stored for many year in the WDI warehouse in Kissimmee. I was told that the reason the attraction wasnt built was because the building wasnt built large enough to hold the ride.

I remember seeing concept art in Starlog MANY years back and thought it would be AWESOME!!!

Then there are all the resorts they were planning, too.
