The ride itself is bland with not much to look at most of the time. The technical aspects are so-so, and the poor construction inside the tunnel (where you can see into the inside of the mountain thru cracks next to the track, is a major show faux-pas. So show elements during the ride need to be improved, but theme-wise... this ride is the best WDW has got right now, or maybe a 2nd place behind BTMRR?

Also, I love the AAs of all the Presidents and seeing them behave like real people sitting around while someone else speaks. I love the narration of the film, and I love Abe Lincoln's speech. There is one drawback nowadays, though - I prefer the old version where the current President did not speak the way they did with Clinton and now do with Bush part 2. But, all in all, this is a great attraction with a wonderful lobby, comfy seats, loads of AA, and a lot of charm and good feelings that it instills in me as an American, regardless of my feelings about the current political climate in this nation.

I love it because it’s a log flume ride being carried along by water. There are little exciting waterfall drops as you go. The ride takes you both inside the mountain and outside into the sunlight. You go up in height and have a great view of the Castle. You get to see very cute creatures in animatronics, sing along to a very catchy song and best of all….. the suspense leading up to the giant drop. Then u get wet and everyone is laughing… it truly is “a laughing placeâ€.

(His words ,not mine, and he was very dramatic about it.) When the ride was over he was laughing. As we walked away from the ride, he turned and looked up at the mountain and said,"Mom that mountain just thought it was going to beat me because it's bigger than me, but I showed it how brave I was. It was so not scary, it made me laugh." He was being so dramatic that I just had to laugh.
