It's great for families but I wouldn't reccommend it for a quiet dinner for two. It's very interactive and they have activities for the kids like riding those stick ponies around the restaurant. When I was there someone asked for ketchup and the waiter brought a case of ketchup and setup up a dozen or more bottles on the table. Each time another table of guests asked for ketchup the kids had to deliver all the ketchup to that table. This went on the entire time we were there. They have a regular menu and banquet style buffet with chicken, sausage, pulled pork, beef, mashed potatoes and salad. If you have kids I would reccommend it.

I have eaten there once a few years ago and found the "Canyon Skillet" awful. It was so bad that when I got to my home a few days later the first restaurant I went to was "Sonny's" for some REAL BBQ. I found the "Canyon Skillet" to be mostly gristle with little meat. The corn on the cob and other vegtables were fine. But the meat in the "Canyon Skillet" was awful.

When in SoCal or the Las Vegas area (Henderson), I always go to Lucille's for BBQ. Great (but heavy) food ... and the best biscuits with apple butter on the planet!

On our drives down from Chicago to WDW - it is always a stop -- btw - the one that was in Kennesaw not far from the Towneplace Suites across from the college closed did it not ?
