I know they adjusted the fireworks to accomodate the missing fire. It will be interesting to see if the fireworks have been changed again.

The barge performs during the firs act of Reflections on Earth, and within the context of the show..it is supposed to be a metaphore of the creating of the Universe and the BIG BANG!!! (Go see Universe of Energy to learn of this scientific theory) When the fire goes..there are ball sof fire in every direction, sideways and upwards. On a night like last night when it was cool weather, the heat generated from the barge must have been quite comforting and nice :)
Everytime I see the barge blow the fire, makes me want to have marshmellows roasted on a stick! Hehehe!!

Seems to me Wishes is enjoyable throughout when watched from the hub, or else.

As for the DL pyro show...a resouding YES. MUCH better over Wishes. But then again, everything they do at DL is better than WDW for the most part.

Sorry, but I just can't believe this. I don't think the average guest has any clue about the fire barge, one way or the other. It's only us super geeks that know the difference. I just don't see it affecting more than a handful of people.

But I still can't see many people thinking that the entire show sucked. It only impacted the first 2 or 3 minutes - the rest of the show was exactly the same (well, with some fireworks coming from slightly different launch points).
