EXCLUSIVE: One of the biggest comedies of the 1990s is making a comeback. I've caught a few episodes of Rosanne in reruns recently, and despite dealing with a lot of then-current issues, the show and its humor has aged surprisingly well. Unlike a lot of recent reboots that seem like they're overblown fanfiction, I could see some potential for this actually being good, showing the familiar characters in familiar-but-timely scenarios I wonder which actress they would want to play Becky. Obviously Sarah Chalke has better name recognition after Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother, but she was only on the original show for a season or two, in a fairly minor version of the role. Or they could do what the Girl Meets World finale did with Morgan, and have both actresses sharing the role in a very self-aware way
