I could manage just fine with something a little more modest. I'm not sure whether or not I'd like to live that close to WDW, but I'm pretty sure I would design a completely different house than the one shown. That said, I do really like the shot of the courtyard, with the pool in the middle of it. Even though it looks completely different in almost every way possible, it just gives off a very similar vibe to the house in the Haley Mills Parent Trap, which I've always had a soft spot for.

It is rare but it does still happen.

At least here in SoCal you see these types of tract homes, maybe in poorer areas they are rare or extra-special. But if I won the lottery there is still no way I would buy one of these things. It's nice enough, but the whole Mediterranean look just doesn't work. Southern California has a similar climate to the coasts of Italy and France, so it can kind of pull the look off (kind of). But in central Florida, it just looks silly. If it were a more traditionally styled home, I think it would be much more appealing to me. As it is, it just looks like a movie prop that they plunked down in the swamp for storage until they need it again.
