I find inspiration in God's creation and grace. I also find inspiration in people who remain upbeat and positive in terrible circumstances. I think that's one of the finest examples of heroism there is.

Of course I find beauty and inspiration in my son. I'm totally overwhelmed by him on a daily basis and it amazes me that I MADE this phenomenal little creature!

I also really find beauty in capturing small moments with my camera. Having that creative outlet inspires me to push myself further and learn more.

I find an old person's smile reassuring.

I find a hug, a kiss, a tickle, all remind us we are alive.

I find inspiration in humanity (though it also is testing), and in nature.

And I find many in our community to be inspirational.

And when younger people give up their seats for older people on the trains. Love that, too!

To me, I adore the show Extreme Make-over: Home Edition. Now, I KNOW the tricks that TV people do to pull your hearstrings during the show. I overlook that and get a feel for the family themselves. Last's nights show once again had me in tears. To go through so much tragedy and to rise above it, and to be able to ask for help and not only to get it, but to get it in buckets from your community, THAT to me is beauty.

    Laughter

It's what has helped me thru life really. I LOVE to make people laugh, especially when things aren't looking very positive at the time...some people thing it's inappropriate timing and I've been called uncaring more than once...but it's always by the other people looking in a the situation trying to take one person's situation and put the attention on them and what they went thru too or who they know that has the same issue too....it's not always about you!
And in my times of need, I appreciate more than ANYTHING the release of a good true laugh...it doesn't make the bad go away fully but for a time it does, and it can provide a glimpse of the other side that is always there when the turmoil passes.

    I love to laugh.

I agree, laughter can be a wonderful medicine (it can get us in trouble too!!!)

WHATEVER! I firmly believe in time and place, of course, and I'm old enough, smart enough and mature enough that I can figure that part out alllll on my own.

I love sharing this with my son.
